Terms of Service

1. What the service is

XXDEV ("the Platform") provides remote technical support to software developers: code review, debugging, architecture and performance advice, delivered in writing over the internet. The service is sold as prepaid support credits.

Credits are added to the customer's account after purchase and are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. Each request costs a fixed number of credits:

• 250 credits — code review of a file or component, or a focused debugging question
• 500 credits — debugging session across several files, or a query and indexing review
• 1000 credits — architecture or performance consultation for a whole module, with a written report

If a request requires a larger tier than the customer expected, XXDEV informs the customer before continuing, and the customer decides whether to proceed.

2. Seller and payment

For purchases made through this page, Digistore24 GmbH is the seller and contractual partner of the customer, acting as reseller and merchant of record. Digistore24's terms and privacy policy apply to the purchase and are displayed on the order form.

The charge on the customer's card or bank statement is made by Digistore24.

After payment is confirmed, XXDEV sends the customer's credit balance and instructions to the e-mail address used at checkout, within 24 hours.

3. Refunds

A refund may be requested within 60 days of purchase. Refunds are processed by Digistore24 as the seller.

Refunds are reduced by the value of credits already used at the time the refund is requested, reflecting the part of the service already performed.

4. Using the service

The customer submits support requests by e-mail. XXDEV replies in writing within 24 hours on working days. Support is not provided for:

• Software developed for unlawful purposes
• Projects that infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights
• Malware, viruses or similar content
• Writing complete projects or features from scratch

5. Customer responsibilities

The customer is responsible for keeping account access details secure and for all activity carried out through the account. The customer is responsible for not sending confidential third-party data or credentials in a support request.

6. Suspension

XXDEV may suspend or terminate an account where these terms are breached. Unused credits are refunded on a pro-rata basis where the suspension is not caused by the customer.

7. Limitation of liability

XXDEV provides technical advice. The decision to apply that advice, and responsibility for the result of applying it in the customer's project, rests with the customer. XXDEV is not liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from the application of advice given.

8. Changes

These terms may be changed with prior notice. The current version is always published on this page.
